In the last five years the main activities of the Society as the principal organization body for periodontal profession in the country were oriented on synchronization of educational and research programs with recently proposed European programs as well as on distribution of recent periodontal trends in Serbia. The Society conducted these reforms through direct activities as well as through the indirect engagement by representing and supporting interests in governmental institutions and bodies, especially in regard to implementation of innovative concepts and protocols in periodontology.
